The international hotel chain NETIZEN Hotel | Hostel due to the opening of a new property in Budapest is looking for a candidate for the position 
Responsible for the administration of all financial activities of the hotel.
Position Summary:
  • Provide financial analysis and support to all units and management Data supply to accounting external team on a monthly basis
  • Participate in preparation of the yearly & monthly operating budget and following control over it
  • Ensure that the needed controls are in place to maximize profits or minimize losses by retaining revenues and reducing expenses.
  • Establish and lead in the following S.O.P.: payroll policy & control, credit card & collection policy, rebate policy, inventory policy, cheque signing procedure and cash system control, agreements and contracts making best practice
  • Execution of Bank transactions related to Hotel expenses
  • Conduct self to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the organization and hotel.
  • Learn, understand and refer to the management company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for proper completion of payroll processing and preparation.
  • Produce accurate and complete reports for departmental distribution: cash flow, balance sheet, Profit & Lost, other daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Perform reconciliation with suppliers
  • Establish and set up Inventory Control system
  • Finance and HR file server structure making
  • Maintain daily listing of sales, hours and charge tips in order for the F&B outlets to maintain reporting provide allocation information.
  • Accurately conduct Food and Beverage inventories as required.
  • Responsible for all new hire paperwork and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as may be required by the General Manager or Corporate Accounting Department.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following characteristics:
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for clarification when needed
  • Strong work ethic.
  • At least 1 year of experience in hotel accounting in a management capacity field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Monthly salary: 450 000 - 550 000 HUF gross depending on experience + annual bonus based on personal KPI
